  • 2 years working as a project manager and translator in the translation department of a major international group
  • 12 years living and working in London; first, as an in-house employee for a small, specialist translation agency, responsible for project management, quality management and translation; working freelance since 2015
  • during this time, I also studied remotely at The Open University, Milton Keynes, focussing on geology; I was awarded a BSc (Hons) Nat Sci (Open)
  • resident in Germany since 2020 (in North Frisia)
  • 2025: Terminology Certificate from the German Terminology Association (DTT)
